Crystal Metivier

Coach Crystal started playing volleyball at the age of 11 and never stopped.  She continued to play in leagues in the area, mostly as a setter.  She was a teacher for four years and then changed occupations and is now an RN at Hurly Medical Center.  She is passionate about the game and the physical/mental health of the athletes on and off the court.

She first started coaching in Byron in 2012 and remained there for 3 years.  She continued coaching club volleyball for 10 years alongside her husband Matthew.  She took a break last season to enjoy her daughter Skylar’s last year of club.

She was Skylar’s coach and mentor for many years.  Skylar plays now at Mott Community College and will be assisting with the Monday/Thursday practice nights.  We are stoked to have Crystal and Skylar join our coaching staff this season!
