Carly Searles-Krenzke

Trine University

Coach Searles is a graduate of Petoskey High School in Petoskey, MI. During her time in high school she was a Three-Year Varsity starter, and she also played for Inside Out Volleyball Club.  After High School, she went to Trine University in Angola, IN. Carly was a Four-Year starter, with her Freshman Year as a hitter.  Carly’s Sophomore through Senior year, she was the primary setter, where she gather All-Conference Awards during those seasons. Currently, Carly ranks in the Top 10 on several categories.  Also, while attending Trine, she played on the softball team as a Four-Year Starter, earning three First Team All-American awards.  She graduated with a degree in Business Administration.

Carly was named Head Coach at Freeland High School in May of 2020.  Previously, Carly coached at Nouvel Catholic Central as the JV Coach.  She enjoys watching her players  grow on and off the court. While not coaching, Carly works as a Bid Coordinator at Caravan Facilities Management, LLC in Saginaw. In here free time she likes to spend time with her husband, Justin and her dog, Rambo. While she’s not running around with her dog, she still finds time to play volleyball, competing in Bay City Recreational Leagues and tournaments in Detroit Area.
