Caitlinn Pistro

Saginaw Valley State University

Coach Pistro is a graduate of Freeland High School. where she was a highly competitive athlete earning All-State honors in both volleyball (Captain – 2 years) and track (Captain – 3 years).  During her prep career, she competed at the highest levels playing on the 16 Black, 17 Black, and 18 Black rosters as a setter and outside hitter.  She also was selected to the USAV Lakeshore High Performance team for 2 summers, competing in the High Performance Championships.

Caitlinn went on to play for Saginaw Valley State University as a defensive specialist / libero.  Her experience in varying positions on the court at the highest competitive levels makes her coaching skill set unique.  She sees the game from all perspectives and has a tremendous volleyball IQ.

Tying well into coaching, Coach Caitlinn is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education at SVSU.

Her coaching experience ranges from coaching athletes 7-18 in various environments, including club teams, middle school, and camps.  She was a club assistant at Five:1 last year, assisting for 15 blue and 14 blue, filling in as head coach for teams in events when needed.
