Join the most competitive, top-recruited club in Mid-Michigan for our 2026 Summer Camps. Learn the Five:1 way of training athletes, which incorporates motor development science and the latest in volleyball training principles. Campers are guaranteed a high number of repetitions because we believe that in order to get better at the game of volleyball, you need to play the game of volleyball.

Staff will include Five:1 Directors, coaching staff, and some Five:1 Alumni playing collegiate volleyball.
*Our Gym is AIR CONDITIONED!

Five:1 VBC All Skills Camp

July 6th-8th

Get ready for school and club tryouts with our all-skill camp!

Session 1 - 9-11:30 am
Session 2 - 12:30-3:00 pm

Athletes in 6th-12th grade are welcome, both boys and girls.  We will place athletes in appropriate skill level groups.

We will break for lunch from 11:30-12:30. You may send lunch in or send money for Subway or Wendy's, which are within walking distance of our parking lot.

Please bring cash/check for your registration fee upon arrival.  Since each day will build on the previous day's participation, no pro-ration is allowed, and we will not accept drop-in attendance.  Please plan to attend all three days.

Five:1 VBC - Defender Camp

Five:1 VBC Defender Camp

This camp is designed to build the technical and tactical skills required to excel as a defender at the next level. Athletes will focus on:

  • Platform angles and ball control precision
  • Reading hitters and the line of approach
  • Serve receive footwork patterns and efficiency
  • Emergency defense and out-of-system play
  • Communication and leadership in the back row
Five:1 VBC - Train & Play

Five:1 VBC Train & Play

July 14th-16th
1 am-4 pm

This camp is designed to help athletes train volleyball skills and then apply them in games, focusing on the mental game skills of a "training vs. trusting" mindset. Lots of reps, lots of feedback, and game application.
Five:1 VBC - Setting Academy

Setting Academy

August 3th-4th
9am - 3pm
$150

Prep for high school season with tons of reps!  Setting academy teaches the art of being a setter (far different than the skill of setting the ball).  Athletes will work on location, tempo, and movement in addition to learning about how to run a creative offense and making good decisions as the team's offensive leader.

Five:1 VBC - Setting / Attacking Clinic

Setting / Attacking sessions will work the basic techniques of each skill, including footwork pattern, posture, ball placement, contact, and decision making. Setters and Hitters will have the opportunity to combine sessions and work together.

Five:1 VBC - Serving / Passing Clinic

Serving/Passing sessions teach proper posture for executing fundamental serve-receive, including reading, posture, and platform angles.  All facets of serving will be covered, including jump float serves and topspin, as well as basic serving mechanics.
